Rodrigo leads the Dispute Resolution area (Litigation, Arbitration and Bankruptcy/Restructuring practices). He has vast experience in litigation before the first instance courts, Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court and also before Arbitrators and Panels.
Rodrigo Urzúa joined Del Río & Co. in 2019. Previously partner at Alessandri & Co. (2018-2019) and Halpern de la Fuente (2015-2017). Before that, Rodrigo Urzúa was senior associate at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana (2006-2015) and associate at Cariola Díez Perez-Cotapos (2002-2006).
Rodrigo Urzúa is Professor of Civil Procedural Law at Law Schools of Mayor University and Andrés Bello University. Previously he was Assistant Professor of Civil Law at the Law School of University of Chile.
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and the Association for the Public Liberties.
